It is so good to be back! After a couple weeks in Europe and then behind the computer working we are kicking it back in high gear for the second half of the wedding season. This time with the lovely Jason & Jungyeon. I have to say I have been blessed to have an amazing team of people I work with. David, our associate photographer killed it this wedding.
Just the perfect way to start my holidays, photographing the incredible Danielle and Ryan at Union Trust in Philadelphia. From get-go Danielle’s laughter was so contagious, you could feel it ripple through the city blocks of Philly, and the funny jokes from Ryan it was almost impossible to concentrate and photograph without laughter.
There is always a first, and I could not be happier to have photographed my first same sex engagement of Sam & Will. It so happened that it was just a perfect fresh day, as the sun was setting in Philadelphia this past lovely Sunday when we started our session at Drexel Park.
This wedding also had a unique guest, Matt Damon with an “I DO TO” sign, that paid us a short visit and we got to take a couple of pictures
Flare City! Not often do we have the luck to have the sun acting as a lighting assistant and aligned perfectly during the ceremony at Palumbo Park. One dreams for such occasions where we can have sun flaring through our images, enriching the beautiful moments for our Bride and Groom.
A perfect way to start June? Start the day at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco with the bride and groom in Philadelphia, enjoy the summer breeze at Pen’s Landing, Get photobombed by the Pride Parade in Broad Street,
A perfect overcast day with a fresh breeze running through the old city neighborhood of Philadelphia, a perfect way to start the session with Jenn & Earl.
It was apparent , that the love they have for each other goes way back when they were kids. From the days when they would take part in prop acting. It wasn’t until college years that they reconnected over a cup of coffee and their love story lifted off! Hence the plane picture taken right outside the wedding venue, perfectly aligned in between the clouds.
I have lost count of how many times I have photographed weddings at Normandy Farms. One would think that I can just show up right before the wedding starts and slide right into work. But NO! I showed up an hour earlier, with the heat blazing through, together with David we walked the grounds, in search for new light, new angles, new ways to portray the love between Sami & Jesse.
Opa! How the Greek like to say! After a month of not photographing a wedding I felt like there was an Opa every minute throughout the day photographing the astonishing wedding of Christina & Craig.
It’s always a joy when I hear the news that my lovely couples I photographer in the past are growing in family. I don’t often photograph maternity session, but having the chance to catch up with Evisa & Greg at the beautiful scenery in Morris Arboretum was simply a joy I couldn't wait to experience.
One of the most interesting things that have been happening the past year or so in the wedding industry is the number of couples opting for a first look before their ceremony! For those who don’t know what a first look is a moment a few hours before the ceremony where the bride and groom see each other for the first time on the wedding day.
Many wedding photographers now include a free engagement session with the collections that they offer, some have the option to add it on to your collection. Regardless of how each photographer offers engagement session, we will go in-depth about why you should get an engagement session.
One has to look back to see how far the journey! 2018 has been a fantastic year for me & Morina Photography!
What a way to finish the year! An awesome wedding celebration of Becky and John. With two cakes, a gazebo that John build, the mummers performing and a fire show! It sure was a great way to photograph the last wedding of 2018.
Amazing laughter, great dance moves and when the spinning bottle stops, pointing at you you ain’t got nothing else to do but kick some great moves. So I did! And here are few highlights from the amazing wedding day at Normandy Farm
December 21st, a rainy day but with spring temperatures. A village stuck in the early 1900 with a barn venue made for a perfect wedding setting, add to it the amazing couple Lindsey & Jordan, with their goofy personalities and awesome dance moves it became a party like no other.
As this year comes to an end and I close the third year as Morina Photography and enter my 14th year as a photographer I find myself more and more being drawn to unique, crazy, goofy, and weird moments. Moments that show us as our true natural beautiful self.
November 10th! Daylight saving already in motion, my phone blowing up with freezing weather alerts had nothing on us, could not cool down the love flying around at Anna’s & Steve wedding!
A fusion of images and video stitched together for Christina’s & Craig’s Engagement Session!
Who would have thought that what we photographers often use to be creative could be found installed at Race Street Pier. That is right a park full of prisms from Prismatica. I carry a tiny one on my bag almost at all times. But photographing the lovely Danielle & Joseph I didn’t need to use mine!
With murals, pumpkins and neon lights mixed with laughter and get-to-know-each-other, this session was a refresh fall joy! Here are few favorites.
I call this engagement session “the star of my heart”! Only because it just happens to be on the most perfect fall day! That day when the sun is shining but yet its cold, where standing in the sun you feel the breeze and the heat at the same time….
Yuki and Michael just rose the bar of love to a whole new level. At constant awe, I could not have been a happier photographer!
