Kathryn & Chris’s Wedding Celebration on Film at Carina Sorella

Some wedding stories do not need a grand production to feel unforgettable.

Kathryn and Chris’s celebration had a quiet kind of beauty. Their ceremony had taken place a few weeks before, so this day was about something simpler and more personal: getting ready at their family home, portraits in the rain, dinner with the people they love, and a reception that felt warm, intimate, and honest.

We began at the family home, surrounded by stone walls, garden paths, soft window light, white flowers, and rooms that felt lived in and full of history. It was the perfect setting for film.

When Chris joined Kathryn, the day opened up. The rain, the clear umbrella, the wet driveway, and the deep green garden gave their portraits a romantic, cinematic feeling without needing to force anything.

Later, everyone gathered at Carina Sorella Restaurant for a candlelit reception filled with music, dinner, family, and the kind of joy that only happens when people feel completely present.

Photographed on film, Kathryn and Chris’s celebration felt timeless, personal, and beautifully their own.
