MORINA PHOTOGRAPHY
How this works
You are about to hand a near-stranger the only version of this day you will ever get. That is a strange thing to ask of anybody, so here is exactly how it goes, from the first email to the finished gallery, with nothing rounded up.
01 DAY ONE
The inquiry
You fill in the form. Five fields. It takes about thirty seconds.
Then a person reads it, usually me. You will hear back inside 24 hours and most of the time the same day, and it will be a real reply about your wedding rather than a packet.
The first thing I check is your date, because I can only say yes to a certain number of Saturdays a year. If it is already gone I would rather tell you in the first message than let you get attached.
“The first message felt like talking to a friend, not a vendor.”

02 WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK
The call
Fifteen minutes, on video. This is not a pitch.
I want to know where you are getting married, what the day looks like in your head, and which people in your family are going to need watching. You should be interviewing me just as hard.
03 WHEN YOU ARE READY
The booking
An agreement and a retainer hold the date.
The agreement is short and in plain English, and you will not find anything in it that we have not already talked about.
From then on you have my number. Not an assistant, not a form. My number.
04 LEADING UP TO YOUR DAY
The planning
Around two weeks out we go through your timeline together, properly, hour by hour.
This is the part couples underestimate. Whether the day feels calm or frantic is mostly decided here, in a conversation about how long it genuinely takes eighty people to get from a ceremony to a cocktail hour. I have watched that go wrong enough times to be slightly obsessive about it.
I will also ask who matters. Which grandmother. Which friend. Who is not speaking to whom. It is a strange conversation to have with your photographer and it is the reason the family photographs take twenty minutes instead of an hour.
05 THE DAY ITSELF_______________
The wedding day
Two of us, arriving before you think you need us.
We do not direct much. We watch, we anticipate, we get close, and we stay out of the way. The exception is the twenty minutes that are only the two of you, where we direct properly, because “just be natural” has never once helped two people standing in formalwear.
If the day runs long, we can stay. Extra coverage is added at the end, not negotiated at midnight.
“We forgot they were even there, and then we saw the photos.”

06 THREE WEEKS AFTER___________
The gallery
A sneak peek arrives within a few days, while you are still floating.
The full gallery lands within three weeks. Every frame individually edited, downloadable, shareable, with full print rights and no expiry date. It is yours. Print it as large and as often as you like.
And if you want it, your wedding goes on our journal, which is where most couples end up sending their families anyway.
